Thursday 4/8/10

 The first coat of finish has been applied to the front door. It is no longer covered in plastic!

 The master closet shelving is in.

 The hardwood floors are all installed. They will start finishing them tomorrow, so no one will be allowed near them for the next several days – a bit of  a breather for us!

 The mud room wainscoating is going up, and the lockers will be built soon.

 The kitchen cabinet installation was finishing up today.

April 7, 2010 – Hardwood, countertops – it is getting close!

 The kitchen cabinetry is all hung, and the countertops were measured today…

 The bathroom tile is down in one bathroom, and the mud room is grouted and done…

 The lights on the first floor are going in…

 The hardwood flooring is being installed. It will all be laid tomorrow and finished in the next few days…

 The lights upstairs are all installed. The second floor is very close to done…

 The appliances are starting to come in…

 This is an “art nook” on the second floor. Doors will make it a cabinet, and there will be access to some systems behind it…
